Who we help

The purpose of Yeadon Charities Association is to help those who live in Yeadon. How we actually do this takes on many forms. This page shows just a sample of the work we do in our community. If you know someone who may benefit from our assistance, please let us know by getting in contact at: info@yeadoncharitiesassociation.co.uk

Summer trip to the seaside

Yeadon Charities Association organises an annual trip to the seaside for elderly residents of Yeadon. Totally free of charge, this trip changes venue each year. With entertainment on the coaches, lunch and tea provided, and of course a fabulous seaside town to explore, this trip is one of our highlights of the year!

Memory Lane

Memory Lane is a fantastic organisation operating in Yeadon. They provide two main services to the community. One is a dementia friendly café held at Yeadon Town Hall. Their drop in cafes for people and carers living with Dementia and Alzheimer's will be held on the last Friday of every month. They also run a respite centre during the week. Yeadon Charities Association provided a £5000 start up contribution to Memory Lane. Our continued donations help provide entertainment and resources to ensure their great work can continue.

Local care homes

Yeadon Charities Association have provided cash donations to two local care homes to help fund their Christmas party's.

Forget Me Not

We have also provided Forget Me Not Café, based at Yeadon Cricket Club, with donations to enable them to continue the great work they do in our local area.
